In every way we experience stress as we pack, say “Good-bye” to friends, set up new schedules and organize all the details of our move.  Seniors experience this and then some.  If you are moving from a house you have lived in most of your life or downsizing to a retirement community, we can help make this process so much easier on you and your family.  We are “Senior Sensitive” and have qualified staff who have had many years helping their own families and helping seniors in the area to move to the retirement community of their choice.  We are linked with several retirement communities in the area and they offer a discount for our services to help you make this transition worry free.

Our multi-talented and experienced team manages moves for people of all ages. We do this with sensitivity to each family’s culture, age and situation.  We can help you decide what you want to bring with you, what you may want to give to a family member and how to get it to them, what you want to sell and what may be given to charity.  We will work with you and your family with the long and most times stressful sorting process, before your actual move begins.

·  In two days, we can pack, unpack, oversee the move-out and move-in and set up your new home. On the first night in your new home you can rest assured knowing everything will be in

“divine order”.

THE PROCESS

-The Consultation

• You share your needs with us regarding your move plans
• We explore options and services with you to make your move easier and worry free
• The consultation will typically be 1 hour and free for seniors

-Customized Floor Plan

• Certified designer on staff will create a floor plan to your specifications, if desired

-Overall Move Plan

• Breaks down each step of your moving process
• Copy of Move Plan to be posted in your residence for reference

-Sorting and Organizing

• Help determine items to take with you
• Disperse remaining items to family, sale, charity or removal, whatever your choice.

-Pack Belongings

• Gently and professionally packed to safeguard your belongings
• Each box inventoried by our staff for easy location upon arrival

-Moving Day

• Coordinate with movers to transfer valued possessions to your new home
• Oversee the day of the move process, from beginning to end

-Move In

• Unpack boxes and set up all belongings according to your move plan
• When we are finished, your pictures will be on the walls and your bed will be ready for your first nights sleep in your new home.  All paper and boxes will be recycled.

-After Move-In Services (if applicable)

• Hold Estate or Moving Sale – we will coordinate all aspects of this sale
• Clean former residence-  we can thoroughly clean your previous home for resale
• Staging-   We can stage your home to get the best value for your real estate.
• Other services- we can do organizing, personal shopping, memory preservation (photos and albums) and transition stress coaching (for people who are having trouble coping with their move)
